After countless hours and putting my blog on the back burner, I have finally launched my new web site tonight!!! Thank you to my many followers who have encouraged me to continue my blog. I am anxious to get back to writing, but hope my web site will be a far more useful tool for new leaders. The site was designed to be user friendly and walk you through a year of scouting Daisy - Junior level. Cadette and Senior will come as I journey into these levels in the future. The site includes information on cookies, crafts, tips and MORE. Although all the information is compiled of my experiences and activities, I hope to make it more interactive and include comments boxes for other leaders to add their activities and ideas. This will make the site truly interactive and helpful to leaders. Beware, it is a work in progress and will constantly be updated. Although I have laid the foundation for a useful web site, I still wake up in the middle of the night remembering activities we completed that were really fun which I forgot to add. Sadly, I had no idea I would create a web site 6 years ago when I started leading, so I have had to sift through mounds of paperwork, rely on old schedules to jog my memory, look through pictures and ask the girls about previous activities. Overall, I believe the site will give you the bones to build your year or ideas to fuel your creativity. Please visit the site and give me your thoughts and comments here. My ultimate goal is that the site is user-friendly and most importantly an asset to leaders.
